Our first night back last night and we discover some alterations have been made! We are now at the other end of the bar, by the stairs (if you know the place!), on a stage - albeit a small one...

As a result, we started quite late as there was a lot of fun and games with us trying various ways of fitting in the space! However, the gig went well and we had the pleasure of Aaron Coddell on bass.

I'm going up to Kawau Island for a few days holiday next week, before the onslaught of new students! Hopefully the weather will be like it is right now... Also waiting on a new Mac ibook for my MAINZ computer - I'm due for a new one. This present ibook has caused more than it's fair share of grief - don't get me wrong - I love macs, but this is a G3 900Mhz unit which has had the dreaded logic board fault (twice!), and LCD back light cable fault. IMHO, I think Apple tried to overspec the old G3, with a result that they run hot and the graphics chip loses connection with the logic board.

Anyway, I hope to transfer all my stuff before this thing finally expires...THEN I can start playing with arrangements for new Blue Train tunes!!
